“Be Fearless”. We are all marked in one way or another. Some of us have visible markings and others have invisible ones. I remember the first time I saw someone with Vitiligo and I was struck by how absolutely beautiful she looked. We were wandering the aisles of Walmart. My kids, being kids, asked why she looked like that and I responded by saying, “isn’t she beautiful. Her skin is as beautiful as lace.” We smiled and passed in the aisle. In the next aisle down, she stopped me, thanked me and said that was probably the nicest thing a stranger had ever said to her.
