Happy Anniversary to me! We went into Vancouver today to the Canadian Diagnostic Center and had barbotage done on my shoulder. I scored big for having the largest calcific deposit they've seen, but hey, if you're gonna do something go big, right? I'm numb right now, but when the freezing wears off, they predicted a fair amount of pain……so NOT looking forward to that. But I am looking forward to the steroid shot kicking in (in 3-7 days) and to the calcification being broken up and reabsorbed. Hello! I hope you’re doing well. Just wondering if you found this procedure to be helpful? After getting minimal advice/info from an orthopaedic surgeon, I’ve been on a mission to learn more about calcific tendonitis. I was hoping to find something to help mitigate the pain, but it seems there aren’t many options.
