So this is a trial and error situation….I used the antique wax on the piano bench……not the colour or look I was hoping for! We got a free piano and while I wasn't expecting perfection, I also wasn't expecting it to be covered in melamine……but it plays and for right now it's ok. I wanted to try chalk paint and figured that I couldn't possibly wreck the piano. Now it's blue. I still need to wax and distress but I'm excited about how it's turning out.
