Yesterday after school, Judah and I stopped to looked at these leaves and the impressions they make on the cement after they’ve fallen off the trees. I often talk about the seasons of life. The periods of growth and of death; the light times and the dark times. How we have times where we stand strong in glorious wonder and times where it feels like everything is dying around us. Even in the letting go, there is beauty and regardless, we leave an impression on the world around us. See the beauty in every season of your life. It’s hard to believe that it’s less than a month until our Handmade Holiday Open House. It’s about this time that I start to doubt myself….that negative self talk starts to whisper (and sometimes shout). And I remind myself that my worth and my value is not in what I do. I want to live a life where I love fiercely. I want to add beauty to our world….a world where success is too often defined by how much you can do, how high you score or rank; and how much you are paid.I want to encourage those I come in contact with to see the beauty that surrounds us, including themselves.So it’s fortuitous that I shared this little guy today…..I guess I needed the reminder myself. #bebrave #liveauthentic #handmadeholidayopenhouse

Today has been filled with a wide variety of creative endeavours. I’ve done knitting, painting and potion making. My first entrepreneurial effort involved body/home products. I’m so excited to share that I’ll have a small number of these products available at our Handmade Holiday Open House.
