{"id":819,"date":"2010-03-27T21:03:53","date_gmt":"2010-03-28T04:03:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/xangelle.com\/dailygrind\/?p=819"},"modified":"2010-03-29T00:49:22","modified_gmt":"2010-03-29T07:49:22","slug":"27-weeks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/xangelle.com\/dailygrind\/27-weeks\/","title":{"rendered":"27 Weeks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Okay, so I&#8217;ve not posted in a while and it&#8217;s getting to the point where Jon can no longer be considered a &#8220;Guest Poster&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve decided to just come clean and fess up for anyone who isn&#8217;t aware.  <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m 27 weeks pregnant.<\/p>\n<p>This means that if I make it all the way to full term (40 weeks) that I have 13 weeks left.  As of today, I have exactly 90 days left.  <\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s 3 months.  OUCH!  I feel like I have SO MUCH to do and so little time!<\/p>\n<p>BUT&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;We are SO thrilled and can&#8217;t wait to meet this little one.<\/p>\n<p>We have found out that we are expecting another little&#8230;&#8230;..BOY!<\/p>\n<p>I am currently seeing both a midwife and a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.medterms.com\/script\/main\/art.asp?articlekey=7900\">Perinatologist<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m seeing a midwife for my regular care and she has referred me (<em>for extra care<\/em>) to the Perinatologist for some detailed ultrasounds and to determine if there was anything that they could find out that might indicate why we lost Nathaniel or the next three or if there seemed to be anything unusual regarding this pregnancy.<\/p>\n<p>We were so excited to see the baby and to hear that everything looked good.  <\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/xangelle\/4472846388\/sizes\/o\/\" title=\"17-weeks by Xangelle, on Flickr\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2703\/4472846388_6db658cb30.jpg?resize=497%2C500\" width=\"497\" height=\"500\" alt=\"17-weeks\" \/><\/a><\/a><\/center><br \/>\n<center>Click on the picture to see a larger view.<\/center><\/p>\n<p>The Dr. told us to come back about 6 weeks later for a follow up appt&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p>The baby had grown and was still a boy and everything was still looking amazing.  They estimated that he weighed about 1 lb 5 ounces and&#8230;&#8230;. While it&#8217;s nice to have the extra care, being released from that care also means that I (<em>and this pregnancy and this baby<\/em>) am considered &#8220;normal&#8221; and that is such an amazing thing.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m hoping to post a bit more frequently over the upcoming weeks as we prepare for the arrival of this sweet boy.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe, you&#8217;ll come along for the ride?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Okay, so I&#8217;ve not posted in a while and it&#8217;s getting to the point where Jon can no longer be considered a &#8220;Guest Poster&#8221;.
